Exercise Science / Exercise Physiologist / Kinesiologist / Athletic Trainer - Ergonomics Industrial Injury Prevention (ATC, OT, PT, CEAS) Position: Industrial Sports Medicine Professional Full-time Compensation: USD 33 - USD 42 per hour (hourly rate negotiable based on credentials and experience) Location: San Diego, California (sites in San Diego, La Mesa, and National City) Setting: Warehouse Hours: Average 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 6:00 am-6:00 pm with occasional later coverage On-site hours may vary based on contractual client expectations We are seeking an Industrial Sports Medicine Professional to provide on-site services and injury prevention programs at multiple client sites in San Diego County. Responsibilities: Provide on-site care and management of work-related and non-work-related discomforts. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and client employees. Provide education and training for individuals and groups focused on injury and illness prevention. Maintain a thorough knowledge of OSHA health and safety practices and follow established OSHA first-aid standards and guidelines. Implement and follow all steps of the Early Discomfort Management (EDM) program. Perform functional employment testing, return-to-work / stay-at-work services, ergonomic assessments (on-site, virtual, office, and vehicle), and clinical solutions as required by the client. Document services and provide detailed and timely reports in Briotix Health's web-based system. Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards at each worksite. Adhere to all Briotix Health company policies, practices, and government regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field. Appropriate certifications and/or state license in good standing in all states where service is provided. Current CPR/AED certification for a Professional Rescuer or equivalent BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care. Minimum 1 year of customer service experience. Ergonomic certification or training preferred. 1-2 years of experience in industrial or office ergonomics, industrial sports medicine, functional employment testing, or job-task analysis preferred. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, sitting, squatting; reasonable accommodations will be considered.
