Cloud Engineer

Salary: $208,000 - 249,600 per year Requirements: We require at least 2 years of professional cloud engineering experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. We expect hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable tools. We look for depth in at least one area such as networking, containers, serverless, or cost optimization. We need strong written English skills for documenting architecture choices and operational reasoning. We require availability for a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. Preferred: certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or GCP Professional. Preferred: experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Preferred: multi-cloud exposure or experience with large-scale migrations. Responsibilities: We author realistic cloud scenarios, spanning architecture design through incident response. We write reference answers that explain the architectural reasoning behind each decision. We grade model outputs for correctness, security, and cost efficiency. We identify configurations that may look plausible but would fail or become too expensive in production.
