As a Dietary Aide, you will assist with meal service, dining room preparation, basic food preparation, dishwashing, sanitation, and kitchen support. You will work alongside cooks and other dietary team members to provide residents with an enjoyable, safe, and welcoming dining experience. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in food service, hospitality, senior living, or healthcare. Previous experience is welcomed but not required. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing and setting up the dining room before meals Serve meals, beverages, snacks, and other food items to residents Assist with basic food preparation and portioning as directed by the cook or Dietary Manager Prepare and deliver resident meal trays as assigned Follow resident diet instructions, food preferences, and meal service requirements Provide friendly, respectful, and attentive service to residents during meals Clear tables and collect dishes and meal trays following service Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, trays, and kitchen equipment Clean and sanitize tables, counters, food preparation areas, dining areas, and assigned kitchen spaces Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors throughout dietary and dining areas Assist with stocking, organizing, and rotating food and dietary suppliesFollow proper food handling, sanitation, infection prevention, and food safety procedures Assist with maintaining appropriate food temperatures and safe food storage practices Properly dispose of food waste and trash Communicate resident food preferences or dining concerns to the appropriate team member Assist with special meals, resident celebrations, activities, and community events as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment Perform additional dietary duties as assigned Qualifications Previous dietary, restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or food service experience preferred but not required Willingness to learn—we are happy to train the right candidate Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance Positive and resident-focused attitude Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dining and kitchen environment Commitment to treating residents with dignity, patience, kindness, and respect Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees Paid Time Off (PTO) Care Cash Program Employee Referral Bonus Program Supportive and collaborative work environment Training and opportunities for professional growth Grow With Us You don't need years of healthcare experience to make a difference at Absaroka Senior Living Center.
