Wash, peel, cut, portion, and organize fresh produce for daily kitchen operations. Trim, portion, and prepare meats according to recipe and kitchen standards. Assist in preparing simple menu items such as salads, breads, sauces, dressings, and condiments. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards. Support receiving and kitchen operations by assisting with unloading, inspecting, and properly storing deliveries and supplies. Assist with daily cleaning responsibilities and deep‑cleaning projects to ensure kitchen cleanliness and efficiency. Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented environment while supporting overall kitchen operations and inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food‑handling practices. Required Skills and Abilities Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety practices, or the willingness to learn quickly. Understanding of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures preferred. Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Dependable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed. Manual dexterity and knife skills necessary for food preparation and other kitchen duties. Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
