Overview Banner University Medical Center – Tucson, part of the University of Arizona Health Network, is looking for an Academic Cardiologist to provide patient care, teaching, and research in a reputable teaching hospital setting. The role involves non‑invasive cardiac care for both inpatients and outpatients, participation in cardiology section activities, and academic responsibilities typical of a staff cardiologist. Responsibilities Provide non‑interventional cardiac care to inpatients and outpatients. Participate in activities of the cardiology section, including clinical rounds and conference presentations. Conduct research and contribute to translational studies. Perform all duties of a staff cardiologist, including teaching, patient supervision, and scholarly activities. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease. Fellowship training in Non‑Invasive Cardiology. One year of clinical practice experience preferred. Team–oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working within a community hospital environment. Strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and a desire for translational research.
