Position Summary
The Director of Sales - New England is responsible for driving revenue growth across New England, New York, and New Jersey through strategic sales leadership, team development, and market expansion. This role leads a team of Account Executives, develops sales strategies, and builds strong partnerships across vendors, consultants, and contractors to position the organization as a leader in AV/IT solutions.
This leader will focus on expanding business across Enterprise, Education, and State & Local Government verticals while ensuring strong pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and consistent achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales leader with strong business acumen, proven experience building high-performing teams, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving market.

- Provide in-field support, including client meetings, presentations, and deal closing
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting through CRM (Salesforce)
- Establish and monitor individual sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Leadership to drive aligned business outcomes
- Participate in business development activities, including industry events and organizations
- Support development and execution of marketing campaigns and customer engagement efforts
- Maintain strong knowledge of AV/IT solutions, services, and industry trends
- Ensure team compliance with training, certifications, safety standards, and company policies
- Foster a culture aligned with company core values and performance expectations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in AV/IT, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years in sales leadership within AV or IT industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams
- Strong business acumen with experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and profitability
- Experience hiring, coaching, and developing diverse sales teams (inside and outside sales)
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel
- Experience in AV/IT integration or related technology solutions industry
- Strong network within Enterprise, Education, or Public Sector markets
- Experience selling both systems and services (managed services, support contracts, etc.)
