Description

  • Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments while crafting personalized treatment strategies
  • Implement physical therapy practices focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
  • Engage with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to enhance patient outcomes
  • Inform patients and families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge preparations, and at-home exercise regimens
  • Maintain precise records of evaluations, treatments, and patient advancements in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to care team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration to assure cohesive patient care

Education

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

  • Prior experience is highly preferred
