Title of Job: Staff Pharmacist Location: Bend, OR CSI Companies is hiring a Staff Pharmacist for our Fortune 100 healthcare client in Bend, OR (near the intersection of NE Neff Rd and NE Williamson Blvd). Job Summary
The Staff Pharmacist is primarily responsible for supporting pharmacy operations by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications within a fast-paced closed-door pharmacy environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining pharmacy management goals, regulatory compliance, and high standards of patient safety while providing both routine and emergency pharmaceutical services. Pay : $54 - 71 an hour based on experience (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).

Hours: Full Time - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm, with on-call responsibilities as needed. Why this Opportunity?

Status: Long Term Consultant. Long term consultant, no end date, with good job stability. There is always potential for conversion to FTE status with the client for the right employee upon business needs. Effective Date / Tentative Start Date: Interviewing Immediately Job Duties:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow, productivity targets, and timely dispensing
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, including DEA, HIPAA, third-party payer requirements, and internal policies
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of all prescriptions, labels, packaging, and medication orders, including sterile IV preparations
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff to maintain proper order entry, secure operations, and adherence to delivery schedules
• Oversee controlled substance management, including ordering, storage, documentation, and perpetual inventory for Schedule II medications
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of pharmaceutical waste and provide scheduled evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as required

Requirements

• Active Oregon Pharmacist license in good standing
• Doctorate degree
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacist
• Strong in clinical evaluation, including drug-drug, drug-disease, and drug-food interactions, as well as allergy consideration

Highly Preferred

• Large corporation experience
• Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
