Electrical Service Technician

Intex Electrical is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems for commercial and industrial customers. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, professional, and able to diagnose electrical issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Our service technicians are trusted professionals who interact directly with customers, diagnose electrical problems, and deliver reliable solutions. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components Perform electrical service calls, repairs, and preventative maintenance Install electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and related equipment Identify issues using electrical testing equipment and provide effective solutions Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards Maintain accurate service reports and documentation Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs and solutions Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment Follow all company safety procedures and policies Qualifications 3+ years of electrical service or commercial electrical experience preferred Valid electrician license (Journeyman preferred, depending on state requirements) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety practices Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls Preferred Skills Experience with commercial service work Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to identify and recommend solutions for electrical issues Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work on ladders and lifts Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle (for qualified candidates) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Accessibility: If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process please contact our Recruiter/Human Resources at Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Email: View email address on click.appcast.io Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
