The Psychiatric Institute of Washington provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. PIW is a 130 bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. Basic Function: Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy for selected outpatient and serves as a liaison/consultant with referring clinicians for adolescent patients. Committed to continued professional development and the acquisition of further knowledge/training as needed. Participates in training and research activities conducted by the program and is active in various facets of program development.

Qualifications: Licensure in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline (LICSW, Psychologist, LPC, LGPC, LGSW) required DC Licensure in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline (LICSW, Psychologist, LPC); Basic Life Support Certification, required; Minimum five (5) years experience in delivery of direct clinical services in a behavioral health setting, some portion of which must have included treatment of posttraumatic conditions; Experience in individual, group and systems psychotherapy, and clinical case management; Demonstrated relevant experience with adolescent populations required Experience in outpatient and partial hospital work Knowledge of hospital systems, including intake/admission procedures, experience working with third party payers preferred, but not required. Experience in outpatient, inpatient and partial hospital work preferred Candidates must meet the company's hiring criteria to include a pre-employment verifications, background investigation and drug test.
