Position Details

• Part-time role: 3 nights per week, from 12 AM to 8 AM
• 24 hours weekly in a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program
• Primary overnight psychiatrist responsible for managing acute psychiatric cases
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and oversee crisis intervention
• Collaborate with Social Work and Physician Assistants for disposition planning
• Affiliated with an academic medical center linked to a renowned college of medicine

Qualifications

• MD/DO required; must be board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry
• Active New York medical license and DEA registration required

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $180,000 to $186,000.
