Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician with IV compounding experience to support a fast-paced pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity for a dependable technician looking for short-term work with consistent hours and competitive pay

Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist with dispensing IV medications
• Compound IV sterile medications following proper procedures
• Clean and maintain the IV room as instructed
• Document environmental data (temperature, pressure, humidity) accurately
• Mixes chemotherapy drugs in accordance with pharmacy regulations.
• Orders pharmacy supplies.
• Establishes inventory processes and record maintenance for drug delivery and dispensing.
• Collaborates with nursing staff on patient treatment schedules.
• Follows all safety and biohazard procedures in the disposal of chemotherapy and medical waste.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Prior IV sterile compounding experience required
• At least one year of experience as a Pharmacy Tech
• Ability to follow sterile technique and safety protocols
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
