Utility Worker III - US

Job Title

Location: Delaware Water Gap, PA Duration: 6 Months Work Mode: Onsite

Must be flexible to work all shifts:

1. 1st Shift: 7am – 3pm
2. 2nd Shift: 3pm – 11pm
3. 3rd Shift: 11pm – 7am

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the safety program and work to exceed all safety standards and requirements mandated by the plant and OSHA.
• Maintain general housekeeping around the mill, including dumping hoppers/trash, cleaning floors/walls, and ensuring general cleanliness of the mill.
• Assist with Housekeeping Audit action items as directed by area owner.
• Assist with general duties in dry end/wet end as required, which may include using an overhead crane to move rolls, cutting of cores, slabbing rolls, and banding slabs for transport to trailers.
• Use forklift as required to move broke, supplies, etc.
• Keep supplies stocked in areas throughout the mill.
• Understand and adhere to the mill training system, policies, and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• HS Graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to use tools/equipment such as forklift, simple hand tools, clamp truck, yard tractor, banding machine, utility knife, and roll pusher.

Preferred Skills:

• Comfortable with heights and confined spaces.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry up to 25 lbs.
