Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, TX Facility: Ascension Seton Medical Center Department/Specialty: Emergency Department Schedule: PRN| Nights How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in accordance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality improvement guidelines. Assess patient conditions, record changes, and communicate critical updates to the interdisciplinary team to support timely, coordinated care decisions. Execute physician and nursing orders accurately while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety best practices. Assess discharge planning needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe transitions, continuity of care, and positive patient outcomes. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. One or more of the following: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Preferred Credential(s): Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire. What additional requirements you'll need 2 year plus of ER RN experience preferred.
