Registered NursePosition Summary: Responsible for providing professional nursing care for SIH patients.Education: Associate, Diploma, Bachelor's degree or Master's in NursingLicenses and Certification: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license, Current CPR/BLS Card, Current ACLS card (within 6 months of hire), Current ACLS & PALS card (within 6 months of hire), TNCC or TNS (within 1 year of hire or residency graduation) - required effective 6/2026, ECRN (within 24 months of hire of residency graduation) - required effective 6/2026, ACLS, Fetal Monitoring – Monitoring, & NRP (within 6 months of hire), NRP (within 6 months of hire), NRP & PALS (within 6 months of hire), ONSExperience and Skills: Technical Experience: NARole Specific Responsibilities: Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs, Establish a compassionate environment to provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patient and families, Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team, Provide in health teaching and counseling to promote, attain, and maintain the optimum health level of patients, Demonstrate ability to use clinical judgement in conjunction with critical thinking to recognize, act upon, and report changes in patient condition, Complete, accurate and timely documentation in patient medical record, Provide input into the development of policies and procedures to support patient safety and quality of care, Supervision and delegation responsibilities of licensed practical nurse and/or unlicensed assistant personnel, Serve as an advocate for the patient by communicating and collaborating with other health service professionals, Timely completion of required education, competencies, and licensure, Float to other SIH nursing units within competency levelCompensation (Commensurate with experience): $31.25 To $49.06
