Contract Specialist

Addison Group is growing very rapidly, and is looking for a strong, people focused Contract Specialist to join our Contract Team. We are an energetic, results focused sales and recruiting organization looking for an individual with solid attention to detail, understanding of legal terminology, and ability to negotiate contract terms with our clients and sales team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be critical to be successful in the role, including being confident in going through contract agreements with legal counsel for client firms, and being able to understand and articulate what is needed to gain agreement. Key Responsibilities Detailed review of MSA’s (master service agreements), NDA’s (nondisclosure agreements), SLA’s (service level agreements), and BAA’s (business associate agreements). Create, manage, and maintain formal review process. Manage life cycle of agreements, including, but not limited to, existing agreements insuring that redlines and signoffs occur within stipulated SLA’s. Formalize team members into a review board. Review existing Standard Templates to ensure that, where applicable, language is mutually binding with the intent to favor the Company and that the library of templates is regularly reviewed, updated, and approved. Recognition of importance of speed to market for review process, without cutting corners on attention to detail. Negotiate terms of agreements for all sections from insurance coverage requirements, to indemnification, security, conversion terms, termination clauses, and others to name a few. Modify internal templates to meet the agreed upon expectations of the clients, while also editing and modifying agreements sent to us. Manage and maintain an archiving system to track fully executed agreements to be added to our CRM, as well as maintaining updates for those in progress. Manage addendums and notices to current agreements. Review RFI’s (request for information) and RFP’s (request for proposal) documents in tandem with our RFP Specialist. Work closely with internal team members and clients to insure we are completing agreements and contracts in compliance with the terms and regulations of the law. Required Background/Skills Undergraduate degree in business, law, or relevant field. Three or more years of experience in contract review. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and OneDrive important, and understanding of Bullhorn, and Salesforce a plus. Strong familiarity with contract documents and legal requirements. Ability to connect well internally and externally with interpersonal skills for purposes of negotiating and gaining common agreement. Customer focus that is resolution based with potentially challenging agreement reviews.
