Responsibilities Pull and stage building material products (lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, decking, siding) Safely load and unload materials on a variety of truck types including semi, box trucks and flat beds Assist customers with loading materials Accurately complete shipping and inventory documents Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Adhere to all safety procedures and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements Work outdoors in various weather conditions while staying adaptable and prepared Requirements Permanent authorization to work in the United States 18 Years or older Reliable transportation Physical capability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and up to 100 lbs in a team lift Commitment to safety and teamwork Availability to work during operating hours, M-F 7a-6p, Overtime as needed Preferred Experience Knowledge of lumber and building materials Forklift operation experience Familiarity with (WMS) Warehouse Management Systems Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center Why Choose Star?
