Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a permanent licensed Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care in both critical and non-critical care settings. This role involves independent clinical decision-making, patient monitoring, and the administration of respiratory therapies in alignment with healthcare standards and departmental policies. This is a full-time DAY shift position: 7am-7pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care plans for diverse patient populations.
• Administer therapies including mechanical ventilation (invasive/non-invasive), oxygen therapy, nebulized medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Respond to emergency situations including code blues and rapid response calls.
• Accurately document clinical information and verify physician orders in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and communicate clearly with patients and families.
• Mentor new team members and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
• Current Oklahoma RCP license (or temporary practice letter)
• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 months of hire

Bonus points for:

• 6+ months of clinical experience
