GENERAL SUMMARY:

This person is to load and unload product using a fork truck into various types of trucks and trailers. They are to fill out any paperwork, check in or out shipments, perform inventory on a monthly basis, calculate and pull case goods lifting up to 70 lbs. They will also be required to perform forklift inspections daily, work in a safe manner and complete any other duties assigned by management and or team leaders. Target Salary range is at $19.50-$24.00/hr

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Knowing how to read the bill of ladings and load logs Loading the proper product. Filling all of the paperwork out correctly (this includes matching purchase orders, receiving’s, and placing these papers in the proper boxes). Placing all safety devices (wheel chocks, safety chains, loading plates etc.) on the trailers that they are working on. Breaking full pallets of product down to make partial pallets for special loads. Maintain a professional work attitude with the truck drivers that come in the facility and with the office personnel. Keep yard clean and organized. Drive safely at all times. Be able to lift 70 lbs. Any other duties assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years’ experience in field a plus. Computer knowledge a plus

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Knowledge of forklift operations. At least a valid Class C drivers license
