Peer Recovery Support Supervisor

Transform Lives Through Shared Experience and LeadershipThe Centers is seeking a Peer Support Supervisor to lead our team of Peer Support Specialists in our Substance Use and Addiction Services Program (SAS). Many people who come to us may feel scared, lost, or unsure of what to do next. This role is more than a job—it's an opportunity to use your lived experience with mental health, drugs, or alcohol challenges to guide, mentor, and empower a dedicated SAS team.About the Role:As Peer Support Supervisor, you'll oversee a team providing emotional and practical support to individuals with substance use disorder. You'll combine your personal recovery journey with leadership expertise to create an environment where both staff and clients can thrive.What You'll Do:· Supervise and develop a team of Peer Support Specialists within SAS· Work in collaboration with SAS leadership to develop and implement SUD and PRS programming· Develop and Coordinate care plans for clients with substance use and behavioral health needs· Collaborate with mental health professionals, medical staff , and outreach workers.· Monitor program effectiveness and implement best practices· Advocate for clients to access affordable, appropriate care· Connect individuals with community resources and supportive servicesWhat You Bring:· Associate or bachelor’s degree (Bachelor's preferred)· Certified Peer Support Specialist credential· Certified Peer Support Specialist Supervisor credential within 90 days· CDCA Certification or CDC Licensure within 90 days· BLS certification· Valid Ohio driver's license with appropriate insurance· Lived experience of substance use disorder with demonstrated recovery· Supervisory or mentorship experienceWhy Join Us:· Make a meaningful difference using your personal journey· Integrated Services in supportive team culture· Competitive pay (see pay schedule)· Access to clinical supervision and supportive team· Ongoing training and professional developmentSchedule Availability· Full-time, Day shift; occasional evening and weekend· Flexible scheduling options are available and will be discussed during the interview process.Reports to: Clinical Director, Addiction Services Learn more about working at The Centers and our benefits on our careers page.Your care and understanding can make a big difference for someone with substance use disorder.
