Clinical Supervisors report to the Group Clinical Manager and are salaried, exempt, full‑time employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Uses clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develops and maintains treatment plans Ensures all supervision hours achieve 100% treatment adherence each month Evaluates patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyzes challenging behaviors to identify their function Develops functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors Observes treatment implementation for potential program revisions Monitors treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols Directs behavior technicians in the implementation of new or revised treatment protocols Provides ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians Primarily works within the center to support technicians and follow best practices of direct observation Summarizes and analyzes data to evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals and adjusts protocols based on data Updates treatment plans at least once per month, based on patient response to treatment Fulfills a minimum of 120 payor/client authorized billable hours per month, inclusive of supervisory and therapy hours Accurately communicates treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) Coordinates care with other professionals Administers, completes, and scores standardized assessments Includes caregiver as part of the treatment team through consistent caregiver collaboration meetings Interacts with payers in a collaborative, professional, thorough, and informative manner Engages with payers as needed for funding meetings (e.g., IEP, peer reviews) Stays up to date on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence Maintains appropriate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record Communicates effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Provides a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintains compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times Partners consistently and effectively with center leadership including Operations Manager, other Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Coordinator, and Tech Leads Performs other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field (required) Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (required) Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (required) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Empathetic and compassionate, maintaining strict confidentiality Collaborative team player with a positive, solution‑focused attitude Independent decision maker with strong clinical judgment Effective communicator in verbal and written formats Excellent time‑management skills; capable of working in a fast‑paced, changing environment Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and new computer systems and iPads Desire to continuously learn and develop skill sets Willingness to work in a variety of locations (center, patient home, etc.) Willingness to work with a variety of patients Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance Must pass a tuberculosis test Proficient in English, both written and verbal PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work with patients seated on the floor, in small chairs, or in other home, school, community and clinic environments Move frequently to gather materials, respond to patient movement, and provide instruction across settings (school, playground, clinic, community) Maintain readiness to participate and respond to patient behaviors, including bending, kneeling, crouching, hurrying, or reaching to prevent risks Utilize continuous visual tracking to monitor patient and environmental movements Occasionally move to evade or block aggressive behaviors and may need to bear weight of a patient leaning or pushing Teach patients to use vocal speech; articulate sound, model speaking, and shape communication Occasionally model gross motor skills (e.g., climbing, jumping) and fine motor skills (e.g., clapping, opening containers) Work in indoor and outdoor settings, including variable weather conditions, to support natural patient environments Lift up to 30 lbs while assisting patients WORK ENVIRONMENT Treatment may occur in patient homes, CARD centers, schools, community locations, or via telehealth.
