Field Service Technician

Required Skills & Experience
*\tMinimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.*\tMust have three (3) or more years of experience.
*\tMust have a mastery knowledge of trouble shooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
*\tMust have a working knowledge to full understanding of local/national codes.
*\tMust have a mastery knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.
*\tMust have a valid driver's license and be able to clear a drug screening.
*\tMust be licensed through the state of Connecticut. Job Description *\tPerforms routine and emergency service calls. Troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
*\tMust have an ability to proctor, coach, and teach others.
*\tProvides reliable, high quality customer support.
*\tProvides customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
*\tPerforms system testing and signal verification.
*\tMaintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
*\tOrganizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
*\tEnsures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
*\tProvides documentation of service and hours worked.
*\tCompletes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
*\tMust have a strong work ethic.
*\tMust be detail oriented.
*\tMust complete other projects, as assigned.
*\tMust obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.
*\tRequires 50% to 75% proficiency in ADT Commercial / Everon Solutions Tier 1 product offerings. This role pays from 35/hr - 55/hr based on experience
