Key Responsibilities of the RN ICU

Monitor patients' condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them effectively to physicians
Perform diagnostic tests, analyze results, and manage medical equipment
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient care goals

Requirements of the RN ICU

Active RN license
ACLS and BLS certification
NIHSS certification
CPI certification (offered if not currently held)
Minimum 2 years of ICU specific experience
