Cardiac Sonographer / Echo TechnologistOur client is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to support cardiac diagnostic services in a hospital cardiology environment. This role will be responsible for performing cardiac echocardiography studies, providing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support, and maintaining high standards of quality, patient safety, and clinical care.Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046Job Type: Travel Contract – 13 WeeksCompensation: $48 – $51 per hour Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, generally 8:00 AM–6:30 PM; schedule variesThe ideal candidate will have recent Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography experience, appropriate echocardiography and vascular credentials, current BLS certification, and prior travel experience.Key Responsibilities:Perform cardiac echocardiography studies within the scope of the assigned role.Provide diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support in a hospital cardiology environment.Obtain and evaluate appropriate cardiac ultrasound images according to established clinical and departmental procedures.Work independently while maintaining quality standards and patient-focused care.Follow applicable imaging, patient-safety, infection-control, and departmental procedures.Collaborate effectively with cardiology, imaging, and other healthcare team members as needed.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography.Current BLS certification.Appropriate echocardiography credential, including one of the following: RDCS through ARDMS RCS or RCCS through CCI ACS through CCI.Additional vascular credential, including one of the following: RVT through ARDMS RVS through CCI RS through ARRT.Prior travel assignment experience.Ability to work the required variable 10-hour day schedule.Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.Additional Requirements:This is a travel-only assignment; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location.Floating is not required.No on-call requirement.Candidates must be available for the full 13-week assignment.
