Teacher - High School Science, English & Studio Art

Job Description

We are looking for 2 positions to fill. This is a great opportunity to join a traditional and well-established private school in Brooklyn. You will have small class sizes, flexibility and creativity in the curriculum, and a team of educators who are focused on everyone's success. We provide professional development support and a career that offers growth and stability.

Responsibilities:

Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
Adhere to an established teaching curriculum
Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Document and share student grades and evaluations
Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required
1 year+ of teaching experience in Science (for Science position) and Studio Arts (for Art position)
Experience working with students of all ages
Ability to differentiate instruction for different learners
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to build rapport with students
