Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

An exciting opportunity for a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) is available. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care during complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.

Responsibilities

Circulate diverse cardiovascular cases, including CABG, AVR, MVR, and more.
Assist in the management of various surgical procedures such as Aortic Aneurysm Repairs, Femoral-Popliteal Bypass, and Carotid Endarterectomy.
Monitor and manage patients undergoing advanced procedures such as Impella placement, ECMO cases, and Thoracotomy.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards within the operating room.
Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
2-4 years of experience in Cardiovascular surgery.
Proficiency with Cerner EMR system.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Ventricular Assist Devices and Robotic thoracotomy.

Additional Information

Patient ratio: 1:1.
Unit includes 4 Operating Room suites.
Scrubs are provided.
Call requirements include 1 night a week and every 6th weekend.

This position requires travelers to be located more than 50 miles from the facility. Candidates must attach all necessary licenses and certifications with their application.
