Job Description & Requirements

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Behavioral Health Experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Med/Surg experience

· Experience with higher acuity populations

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

· Behavioral health assessments

· Medications

· Admissions

· Discharges

Best personality Fit:

· Team player

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· CPI/CPR

Floating Areas:

· All units of Tucker Pavilion- adult, substance abuse, child/adolescent

· Number of Beds -28

· Number of Staff – Varies shift to shift

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – 1 charge RN, 2 RN, 2 mental health tech

o Night Shift – 1 charge RN, 1 RN, 2 mental health tech

· Patient Ratios – varies- 7-10

· Type of equipment – Oxygen, Dinamap

· EMR -Meditech
