Clinical Pharmacist Rotating Shifts

Clinical Pharmacist Location: 6100 Harris Southwest Fort Worth, TX 76132. Hours: Rotating shift; willing to work rotating days, evening, weekends, and some holidays. Supportive leadership and team that promote continuous learning and professional development. Here's What You Need Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required. Other Pharm D. required. CLIA FE must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required. Pharmacist License (PHAR- or equivalent) upon hire required. 3 years of hospital experience or residency preferred. At least 5 years of acute inpatient (not retail or clinic) pharmacy experience highly preferred. IV certification highly preferred. Experience in advanced clinical pharmacy services such as antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacokinetic dosing, and participating in Code Blue. Experience precepting pharmacy students in an inpatient hospital pharmacy. Experience with oncology, pediatrics, or intensive care preferred. Proficient in written and verbal English communication skills, computer proficient, and possess basic math skills. What You Will Do Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships, and role modeling teamwork. Timely and accurate support of medication distribution, including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities. Provision of clinical pharmacy services for safe and efficient patient care. Ensuring accuracy of one's own work and maintaining required competencies and documentation. Support the department’s quality improvement and patient safety programs and initiatives. Ongoing professional development and growth. Managing one's own time while sharing responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies. Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available. Other duties as assigned.
