Customer Service III for a distribution company located in Oakland, CA.

Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (DOE)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Summary

We are urgently seeking an experienced Warehouse Customer Service Representative II (CSR II) to join a fast-paced warehouse and logistics operation. The ideal candidate will have direct experience managing export transload accounts and supporting daily customer operations within a warehouse, 3PL, or logistics environment.

This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, carriers, and warehouse personnel, ensuring export shipments are coordinated accurately and efficiently from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage export transload accounts and oversee daily customer operations.
• Coordinate export shipments, containers, and transportation providers.
• Prepare and maintain export documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and shipping paperwork.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and warehouse teams regarding shipment status, scheduling, and issue resolution.
• Monitor shipment activity to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records and update warehouse management systems.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and customer concerns in a timely manner.
• Support warehouse operations while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Direct experience managing export transload accounts is required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse customer service, logistics, or 3PL experience.
• Experience coordinating export shipments, containers, and transportation providers.
• Knowledge of export documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and shipping paperwork.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
