Job Description

Medical Center in the Mississippi Delta region is seeking an additional BC/BE General Surgeon to join its established employed team within a comprehensive acute care hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care close to home.

Position Highlights:

• Clinic Hours: 8a-5p M-F
• Schedule: 36 patient care hours 4 admin; Clinic two full days, designated clinic/surgery days
• Call: 1:3, 5 days/mo built into contract - opportunity to pick up additional call/pay
• Average # of patients seen per day: 20-25 patients per day (when ramped)
• Hospital-employment
• Joining 2 General Surgeons (1 full-time, 1 part-time, 1 one weekend/month)
• Bread & Butter procedures
• No robotics
• Scopes required
• Covering one hospital only with all surgeries and scopes done at the hospital
• No trauma
• Hospitalist team for admissions

Recruitment Package may include:

• Base salary starts at $450K DOE + wRVU production incentive
• $5K CME allowance
