Title: Dishwasher

Reports to: Kitchen Manager(s) and Chef Team

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment, including utensils, pots, and pans ensuring they meet standards for safe food preparation

• Work with kitchen team to ensure dishes and equipment are stored properly

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces

• Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles while ensuring proper waste separation

• Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment

• Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures

• Maintain cleaning schedules to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks are completed

• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary

Job Requirements

• Must be willing and able to work standing for long periods of time.

• Experience with fast-paced dish pit environment preferred.

• Ability to push through dishes and organize area as necessary to the business.

• Experience with MSDS knowledge and upholds active practice of cleanliness in the dish area while maintaining protocol for dish liquid use.

• Responsibly geared towards presenting a clean and welcome experience for guests through upholding sanitation requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

• Holiday pay of 1.5× the regular rate is provided for hours worked on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day .

Colorado : Employees accrue 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked , up to 48 hours per year , under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA). Maryland : Employees accrue at least 1 hour of paid sick and safe leave for every 30 hours worked , up to 40 hours per year , as required under the Maryland Healthy Working Families Act.
