Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated pharmacist to provide excellent medication dispensing and patient care services. This contract position requires strong retail pharmacy experience to ensure accuracy, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Location: Hollywood, FL
Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
• Verify prescription information and insurance coverage
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
• Manage inventory and oversee pharmacy operations during assigned shifts

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Florida
• Proven retail pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
