Lead Quality Assurance Engineer / Java / BDD

This client is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer based in Boston, MA with a requirement of 4 days onsite. You will be joining a global investment management firm that is focused on delivering software solutions that support essential financial systems. This is a long-term contract role. This is a high impact role in which you will drive testing strategy and lead offshore teams in fast paced environments. In this role you will be leveraging Java, BDD, Gherkin, AI driven testing tools, and automated QA practices, with strong visibility across enterprise applications that will support important business functions and global stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing Excellent with Java based testing frameworks Hands‑on experience with Behavior Driven Development Hands‑on experience with Gherkin Experience leading or managing offshore teams across multiple time zones Experience using AI tools in testing or automation workflows Strong monitoring and security skills Desired Skills & Experience Strong communication and leadership skills Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Experience mentoring junior QA engineers Investment and trading experience What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 50% Automated Testing using Java BDD frameworks and AI tools 25% CI/CD and integration support 15% Test Strategy and Leadership 10% Manual testing and validation Daily Responsibilities 60% Hands On 20% Management Duties 20% Team Collaboration #J-18808-Ljbffr Motion Recruitment Partners LLC
