Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) nurse position in a healthcare facility located in an unspecified location. This role involves providing perioperative patient care in the operating suite. The shift is primarily scheduled during daytime hours, with responsibilities including assisting with surgical procedures and patient management. Job Details: Certifications: BLS (must be American Heart Association), CNOR preferred. Education Requirements: Must have a valid license to practice as an Registered Nurse. Experience: 2 years of OR nursing experience required. Location Requirements: Must be able to start immediately. Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Availability: Positions available from 10/05/2026 to 01/24/2027. Case Load: 40-60 cases per day. EMR System: Epic. Scrubs Provided: Maroon. Floor Orientation: 1 week. Miscellaneous: Must be able to start IVs. No weekends, no call, no holidays, no float required. Additional Information: Shifts are assigned; no block scheduling options. The hospital can cancel up to 2 shifts per 12 weeks or less and 3 shifts per 13 weeks or more without penalty. Shift expectations from 7:00am to 7:30pm.
