Production Supervisor

Recruitment Consultant - Technical Operations at DSJ Global A leading food manufacturer is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of food products. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, while fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate production activities to meet daily targets for safety, quality, and delivery. Promote a collaborative and positive team environment focused on communication and continuous improvement. Provide strategic oversight for day shift operations, ensuring alignment across production, quality assurance, maintenance, and sanitation . Coach and develop Production Supervisors and frontline staff, ensuring proper training and performance development . Standardize processes and tasks across shifts to ensure consistency and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with food safety protocols , GMPs, and regulatory standards through effective supervision and accountability. Manage shift transitions and coordinate tasks across departments to maintain workflow continuity. Conduct regular floor walks to monitor safety, quality, and team engagement. Ensure accurate completion of required documentation and support food safety and quality programs. Monitor and report on key performance indicators including line efficiency, waste reduction, and safety metrics. Qualifications & Experience 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food production preferred). Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field. HACCP and food safety training preferred. Strong understanding of safety regulations in food manufacturing. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production documentation. Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
