Role Description The Staff Consultant I role is a full-time, on-site position based in Huntington Beach, CA. This role involves supporting environmental compliance projects, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of technical reports and regulatory documents. The Staff Consultant I will assist with evaluating project scenarios, reviewing operational changes for environmental impacts, and coordinating with senior consultants on client deliverables. Day-to-day tasks may include conducting fieldwork, maintaining accurate project documentation, and helping prepare materials for regulatory agency submittals and client meetings. The role also includes collaborating with team members, communicating findings to project leads, and contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and tools. Qualifications Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to interpret environmental regulations and technical data. Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, regulatory documentation, and client correspondence. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records. Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and interact professionally with clients and regulatory agencies. Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field. Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with environmental data tools or databases is a plus. Willingness to perform fieldwork as needed and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures. Prior internship or entry-level experience in environmental consulting, compliance, or industrial operations is preferred but not required.
