Electrical Engineer

Job Summary The Electrical Engineer will use AutoCAD and REVIT to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for many types of commercial building spaces. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Perform basic electrical engineering calculations Layout and design electrical distribution Work on lighting design and lighting controls Design and layout fire alarm and low voltage system Design systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC Design projects from conceptual design to completion Perform site investigations both during design and during construction Qualifications And Experience You will be a great fit if: Bachelor's Electrical Engineering or related (required) You have 3 to 5+ years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities (required) You possess a Professional Engineering license or have the ability to obtain one You have a desire to grow an office and company Skills/abilities Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential (required) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit Self-starter that requires little direction to get moving on a project Travel Up to 10% The expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 USD per year or more depending on experience. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
