Key duties include monitoring inventory levels, analyzing production performance, and collaborating with procurement and sales teams to prevent delays.Responsibilities:Develop detailed, daily/weekly/monthly production schedules to meet customer orders and sales forecasts.Monitor inventory levels of finished goods at external vendorsUtilize MRP systems to order materials and manage inventory, ensuring data accuracy.Track production progress, analyze performance metrics, and prepare reports for management.Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, or quality issues from external vendorsRecommend solutions to enhance production quality, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.MRP master data: create and maintain the MRP master data in the system according to predefined set ups in collaboration with responsible external vendorsPurchase Order: creation, monitoring, maintaining changes, confirmations and discrepanciesMonitor exception reports of current purchase orders: daily tracking of current purchase orders in the system, remediate exception reports in collaboration with the supplier, escalation and information of missing parts and major deviations to the responsible partyExpediting of deliveries: daily monitoring, processing and clarification of over-/due deliveries, escalation and information of missing parts and major deviations to the responsible procurement functionMaintain accurate min/max, optimal order quantitiesDetermine critical sunset items for product transition coordinate and track their usageQualifications:Previous Experience is required in an Inventory Planner/Scheduler position.Prior experience resolving supply chain disruptions with minimum impact to budgets & production/operationsAbility to influence internal & external stakeholdersBe adaptable to manage competing demands & deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected eventsBenefits:401K with Company MatchHealth, Vision & Dental InsuranceLife & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountPaid Time Off (PTO) ProgramPaid HolidaysAebi Schmidt is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
