Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit across rotating day and night shifts
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in clinical status
• Float within the hospital as needed based on unit and staffing requirements
• Float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
• Participate in every-other-holiday rotation as required by the facility
• Complete all required pre-start modules prior to entering the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current AHA-issued BLS certification required at submission
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent employees of this facility are not eligible to apply as travelers
• Willingness to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry specialty background
• Two supervisor references preferred
