The UNC School of Medicine is a nationally recognized leader in academic medicine, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of North Carolinians and the broader communities we serve. Through excellence in patient care, education, and research, we deliver high-quality clinical services, prepare future healthcare professionals and scientists, and advance innovative research addressing critical health needs. As one of the nation's top public medical schools with nationally ranked programs in primary care and NIH-funded research we foster a collaborative, diverse, and professional environment while working in close partnership with UNC Health to expand access, reduce health disparities, and improve outcomes across North Carolina and beyond. Within this mission, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is devoted to the comprehensive healthcare of women, often serving as a patient's primary and sometimes sole source of medical care. The Division of General Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Midwifery provides full-spectrum care, including the management of normal and high-risk pregnancies, childbirth, and comprehensive gynecologic services encompassing preventive, medical, and surgical care. This is a Business Services Coordinator position within the UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of General Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Midwifery. The Division includes 27 faculty physicians, 8 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 clinical fellows, 20 midwives, and 5 administrative staff, supporting care delivery across 17 clinical locations, including hospital-based and community sites such as Weaver Crossing, Panther Creek, HMOB, Chatham County, and the NC Women's Prison. Delivering high-quality obstetrical and gynecological care requires strong coordination between clinical and administrative teams. This Business Services Coordinator role is integral to that effort, serving as a central liaison across faculty, providers, administrators, staff, learners, and external partners, ensuring effective communication, operational continuity, and exceptional patient-centered service. This position serves a critical operational role requiring advanced administrative, financial, and business coordination expertise.
