Shipping Clerk

As a Shipping Clerk, you will verify and keep records on outgoing shipments.

Job Description

Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products.

Record shipping data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes.

Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damage and non-conformance to specifications.

Other duties as assigned.

• Warehouse: Freezer (-20F to 0F)
• Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
• Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)
• Office: Office Temperature (65F to 75F)

Skills:

• Specialized Knowledge: Pallet Jack experience preferred.
• Special Skills: Prefer candidates with experience in grocery selection. Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime is required.

• 0-2: At least six months of warehouse experience. Pallet Jack experience preferred.
