About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Patient Access. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing processes and policies that enhance the patient experience, improve operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic leader who can actively engage with operational and support service teams, provide vision and operational oversight for all patient access functions, and lead the modernization of patient access. The AVP will be accountable for a comprehensive communication strategy, staff engagement, and will be expected to travel extensively within the assigned markets. Candidates for the AVP Patient Access position should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) or a combination of education and equivalent work experience, with at least 5 years' in patient access or revenue cycle and 10 years' managing multiple health systems. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in implementing strategic initiatives, advanced knowledge of AI in a business context, and the ability to influence change management. Effective communication, critical thinking, and action planning abilities are essential. The AVP will be expected to promote a culture of two-way communication, team-building, and ensure staff are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. The position is remote, but the candidate must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
