Registered Nurse (RN)
The position is within the PACU/Pre-op/Recovery/GI Lab environment, providing care for patients recovering from surgery and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) are required.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is also necessary.
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is preferred but not required.
- Active nursing license is required for submission.
Shift Information
- Shifts are typically scheduled as 8-hour days.
- Weekend commitment is required, with scheduling every other weekend.
- Two out of three major holidays must be worked each year.
Additional Requirements
- Call shifts are mandatory as part of the role.
- Experience with ICU patients is required, as they will be recovering in the PACU.
Facility Features
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Cerner.
- Pharmacy and Respiratory Therapy services are available 24/7.
- Telemetry services are provided using Philips equipment.
Cancellation Policy
The organization retains the right to cancel up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment, and three shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks.
