Sanitation Worker

Job description :

KEY RESULT AREAS

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and the plant environment. The successful candidate will only use safe methods and practices.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge of sanitation master schedule Clean and sanitize production line operating equipment (ovens, mixers, etc.) Clean and sanitize baking equipment including bins, trays, etc. Operate floor scrubber to clean concrete flooring Sweep and mop work areas Perform housekeeping duties including, restrooms, lunchroom, offices, conference room, etc. Discard all corrugated, inedible food and other packing material

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge of pest control Operate a trash compactor Read a weight scale Operate a baler Knowledge of production line operating equipment Knowledge of equipment assembly Knowledge of chemicals, chemical color coding system and chemical handling Knowledge of how to read MSDS Work weekends or overtime as assigned Commit to a continuous improvement work team environment. Other duties and/or projects assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Be able to lift / push 50; more than 50lbs will require two people. Able to work on feet for the entire shift. Perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, and climbing

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience (Years/Type): Entry level
