Senior Business Analyst – Finance (D365 F&O) We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Finance to support and optimize financial systems within a dynamic, multi-entity environment. This role acts as the key liaison between Finance/Accounting and IT , driving improvements across business processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) . What You’ll Do Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to understand current processes, pain points, and future‑state needs Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams Lead requirements workshops across multiple business units D365 Finance & Systems Support Provide day‑to‑day functional support across D365 Finance modules including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets Cash & Bank Budgeting and Project Accounting Configure system modules aligned to approved requirements Recommend system enhancements, automation opportunities, and best practices Delivery, Testing & Optimization Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria Develop test scripts, coordinate UAT, and validate system enhancements Support data validation, migration activities, and release readiness Document workflows, system configurations, and process changes clearly Manage projects end‑to‑end, including scope, delivery, and deployment Identify opportunities to improve system usability, efficiency, and accuracy Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with internal teams and third‑party vendors Support ongoing system enhancements and process optimization initiatives What We’re Looking For Must‑Have Experience Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Experience conducting UAT, test scripting, and system validation Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications Proven experience managing projects from requirements through deployment Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Background in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems Experience with cost accounting and project accounting Exposure to tools such as: Treasury Automation AP Automation Fastpath Power BI / financial reporting tools Professional certifications (CPA or relevant technical certifications) are a plus Why This Role Stands Out High‑visibility role bridging Finance and IT Opportunity to drive system improvements and automation at scale Strong cross‑functional collaboration with business and technical teams Ability to support business needs outside standard hours when required (occasional evenings/weekends) Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
