Compressed Air Equipment Service Manager

ProParts, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing industrial compressed air systems, including sales, service, rentals, and parts, to manufacturers across South Texas and Northern Mexico. With offices in the Rio Grande Valley, Reynosa, and Monterrey, we support customers on both sides of the border who depend on reliable compressed air to keep production running.

About the Role

We're looking for a growth-minded Service Manager to lead service operations across all three of our offices. This role is based in our US office and reports directly to ownership. The right person treats the service department as a revenue engine, not a cost center, and builds long-term customer relationships through every visit.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and develop service technicians across our US, Reynosa, and Monterrey offices
• Grow service revenue through preventive maintenance agreements, rentals, repairs, upgrades, and parts sales
• Identify sales opportunities in the field and work with the sales team to close them
• Own key customer relationships and serve as the escalation point for service issues
• Set and track KPIs for response time, technician utilization, first-time fix rate, and service profitability
• Review and approve service quotes, labor estimates, and job costing
• Ensure safety, quality, and documentation standards are met at all locations
• Coordinate parts availability and inventory with purchasing
• Travel regularly between the Rio Grande Valley, Reynosa, and Monterrey

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Background in compressed air systems strongly preferred;
  rotating equipment, industrial HVAC, or similar industrial service considered
• Proven track record of growing service revenue or a service customer base
• Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written
• Valid US passport and ability to cross the border regularly
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Comfortable with CRM, service management, and reporting tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with manufacturing customers in the maquiladora/nearshoring market
• Knowledge of compressed air brands, controls, and system audits
• Technical training or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial fields
