Schedule: 20-40 hours per week

Facility Setting: Private Ophthalmology Practice

Position Overview:

A private ophthalmology practice in Old Bridge, New Jersey is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Ophthalmologist to join its high-volume, surgery-focused practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgically oriented ophthalmologist interested in cataract and refractive procedures, advanced technology, and continued surgical development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmic evaluations and treatment.

• Perform cataract and refractive surgical procedures.

• Evaluate patients for premium IOL and advanced refractive procedures.

• Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care.

• Perform high-quality cataract surgeries in a high-volume setting.

• Utilize advanced surgical technology and ophthalmic equipment.

• Educate patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes.

• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate care with clinical support staff.

• Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining high surgical standards.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree.

• Completion of an Ophthalmology residency.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.

• Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

• Strong cataract surgical skills.

• Demonstrated interest in cataract and refractive surgery.

• Refractive or cataract fellowship training is preferred but not required.

• New graduates may be considered if they demonstrate excellent surgical ability.

• Comfortable working in a high-volume surgical practice.

• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
