Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment at a level II trauma center in Charleston, SC. The technologist will perform a variety of MRI procedures, including advanced imaging, in a busy hospital environment, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures encompassing brain, spine, extremities, cardiac, breast, and abdominal imaging.
• Operate GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer MRI scanners, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patients during procedures, maintaining patient safety.
• Document procedures accurately in Meditech system and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to provide timely and accurate imaging services.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• ARRT MRI registration required.
• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience.
• Cardiac MRI and breast MRI experience preferred.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays in accordance with facility policy.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
