Duties

• EDDA experience required.
• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office.
• Perform basic administrative tasks, such as filing and maintaining inventory of dental supplies.

Skills

• Strong restorative skills.
• Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Familiarity with dental coding for accurate billing and insurance claims processing is a bonus!
• Knowledge of endodontics, general dentistry, and dental terminology to assist effectively in various treatments.
• Understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures.
• Experience with dental imaging technologies to assist in diagnostic processes.
• Ability to work with electronic health record systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
