Travel Nurse Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D) / LDRP
• Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750-$1,840
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• On-Site: Yes

Labor & Delivery RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Intermediate fetal monitoring experience preferred
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented approach
• Comfort working in a fast-paced maternity and labor unit environment

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and maternity patients
• Assist with inductions, cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, nursery staff, and the clinical care team
• Support safe, compassionate care for mothers, babies, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Contribute to a positive unit culture and uphold patient safety standards
